After having completed my EAAB board exam and NQF Level 4 in real estate, I specialized in the sectional title sector, where I do most of my business in Lyttelton, Die Hoewes and Zwartkop. I am passionate about people and properties. My aim is to give my clients professional, secure and honest advice and assistance at all times.

Melanie joined Harcourts Potch in August 2008, and was awarded as Harcourts South Africa's Rising Star for 2009/2010. Melanie studied communication, marketing and journalism and completed her Honours degree in Communication at the University of Johannesburg (RAU) in 1998. Her interest in current affairs also manifested in studying Economics, Statistics and Political studies. Melanie became a national award-winning journalist with one of the top community newspapers in South Africa and steadily rose through the ranks to eventually become responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of five of the different newspapers published by the company. Her interest in lifelong learning and a love of property first involved her in the property market as an investor, followed by her voluntary successful completion of the Estate Agency Affairs Board exam for real estate agents. Her love of real estate and a passion for helping people achieve their dreams, in the end caused her to say farewell to journalism and join the ranks of real estate professionals. Since joining Harcourts she has successfully undergone the new qualification process to earn the Further Education and Training Certificate in Real Estate and proved that her flair for marketing, passion for exceptional service and personal integrity is a winning combination.
