It is a professional organization with a good name. I have not heard of any negative feedback from friend and relatives about Harcourts during the process. We felt save in the process. The auction process was very exciting and we in general enjoy it. However, I have couple of points on the auction process: Be clearer in your advertisement on the website regarding the auction process. Don't use the word "auction" on the website and pamphlets during the review so prominently. Or come up with an alternative term, like "Come and make an offer" People in general don't read and they only see the Heading and will respond because they may see it as a bargain and also re-assess your starting price. People are perhaps too ill-informed of the process, and I received couple negative comments which was personal. Maybe you can start in educating the public on this process if you don't already. (For me that was the difference between an 8 or 9/10).
