Over the years, Pieter has consistently ranked among Harcourts’ top-performing property professionals, earning multiple Gold, Silver and Platinum Sales Awards, Quarterly and Annual Platinum Awards, and Certificates of Excellence. His achievements include 8th Position as Top Sales Consultant Nationally in 2017, as well as continued recognition for outstanding sales performance.

His success has continued to grow. In 2026, Pieter earned 9th Position in the prestigious Harcourts Chairman’s Circle and was recognised as the 11th Position Top Sales Consultant Nationally for 2025/2026, together with a Platinum Award.

Today, Pieter is Co-Business Owner of Harcourts West Coast and Harcourts Swartland alongside his sister, Maritha Wagner. He is also recognised as a Beachfront Property Specialist on the West Coast, with more than R400 million in sales achieved in the West Coast market alone.

Behind the awards and achievements lies a real estate story that began long before Pieter entered the industry himself.

His father, Pieter Wagner Snr, established Pieter Wagner Eiendomme in Warmbaths, Limpopo, in 1969. Growing up in a family immersed in property gave Pieter early exposure to the industry and a strong understanding of the value of relationships, hard work and local market knowledge.

In 2001, Pieter officially began his own real estate career, working alongside his father at Pieter Wagner Eiendomme. This gave him invaluable hands-on experience and helped shape the work ethic and property knowledge that would later become the foundation of his success.

His career has since taken him across different sectors and regions of South Africa, including game farms, residential developments, commercial property, luxury homes and beachfront estates.

His experience includes working extensively with game farms and high-end property, as well as marketing luxury homes in Waterkloof, Pretoria, before making the move to the West Coast.

On 18 June 2014, Pieter joined Harcourts and began a new chapter in his career. From the start, he worked with a clear goal: to build his name and expertise in beachfront property and become a recognised specialist along the West Coast.

That focus has paid off.

Today, Pieter is known for his in-depth knowledge of beachfront and coastal property across the West Coast. His track record of more than R400 million in sales in the region reflects years of focused market knowledge, strong client relationships and consistent performance.

His extensive market experience means he understands that no two clients or transactions are the same. Whether working with a family looking for a home, an investor or the owner of a premium beachfront property, Pieter remains focused on clear communication, sound advice and achieving the best possible outcome for his clients.
